Franklin County's juvenile jail is still plagued by violence, and other problems, as flagged in the state's latest inspection report.
"Growing up where I did, most people said that I couldn't or shouldn't be a lawyer," said Stroud, who grew up in the Linden area. "When I was in high school, I actually had a judge from this court who came to our high school and spoke. And then that really confirmed for me that it was possible."
